Our Story
From award-winning Burmese cats to one of the prominent Burmilla breeding programs in the United States.

Our Beginnings in the Cat World...
THE BEGINNING
Our journey with cats began over 20 years ago with our first cat, RW, GP Laki’s Lovey Morning Star, a beautiful female traditional American Burmese. After Lovey earned her Regional Win in Premiership in 2005, her breeder encouraged us to start a small breeding program.
For several years, we tremendously enjoyed breeding, raising, and showing fabulous Burmese kittens until family responsibilities led us to take a hiatus. During that time, I remained active in the show community, serving as show manager for a Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. (CFA) sanctioned show in Erie, Pennsylvania for 15 years.

DISCOVERING THE BURMILLA
Our Beginnings with the Burmilla...
When family responsibilities became less demanding, I finally pursued my dream of owning a Burmilla—a breed I had admired for years for its connection to the Burmese, yet distinctive beauty and temperament.
That journey led me to Keith Kimberlin of Kitzn Cattery, who welcomed me into the small community of Burmilla breeders in the United States and entrusted me with my foundation male, CH Kitzn Augustus of Purrcise. Through Keith, I was introduced to Stephanie Mohr of Kasanovakatz Burmillas, who provided my foundation female, GC Kasanovakatz Reynah's Hope. Hope is the daughter of Kasanovakatz Reynah, the 2017–2018 CFA Cat of the Year.
