About Us

Our Beginnings in the cat world...

We have been working with cats for 25 years starting with our first cat, RW, GP Lovey Morning Star, a beautiful female Traditional American Burmese.  After Lovey earned her Regional Win in Premiership in 2005, Lovey’s breeder asked if we would consider starting a small breeding program.  As they say, the rest is history.  For several years, we tremendously enjoyed breeding, raising, and showing fabulous Burmese kittens until family responsibilities required that we take a hiatus. Before and during our hiatus, I remained involved with the production of a Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. (CFA) sanctioned show in Erie, Pennsylvania as show manager for 20+ years.

Our beginnings with the Burmilla…

When family responsibilities became less demanding, I inquired about getting my dream cat, a Burmilla.  I had fallen in love with the Burmilla even before they were recognized in the US for their similarities to the Burmese, but with a striking and slightly different look and temperament.  As fortune would have it, I reached out to Keith Kimberlin of Kitzn’s Burmilla and after some convincing, he allowed me into the small group of US Burmilla breeders with my foundation male, Kitzn’s Augustus of Purrcise.  Shortly after, Keith introduced me to Stephanie Mohr of Kasanovakatz Burmilla.  Stephanie provided me with my foundation female, Kasavonahkatz Reynah’s Hope.  Hope is an offspring of Kasanovahkatz Reynah, who is the 2018-2019 CFA Cat of the Year, and we’re so proud to have Reynah’s pedigree in our program.
